Step 1
Cut a thin strip of paper, about 4-5 inches long

Wrap your piece of paper tightly around your desired finger.

Using a pen mark the point where the paper overlaps

With a ruler measure the distance from the end of the strip to the mark you made, in millimetres. This gives you a measurement of the circumference of your finger.
